I've seen iterations of Kristina Meltzer's Los Angeles abode floating around the web for quite a while and every time I happen upon an image of her sunny digs I'm smitten all over again. It's no secret that I'm a big fan of breathable white spaces with minimal design, a touch of California cool and the tiniest pops of color (scroll down for the emerald green accent wall of my dreams!) and Kristina's house ticks all those requirements nicely. The founder of 100 Layer Cake and 100 Layer Cakelet, it's no wonder that Kristina has mastered the art of making an inviting, kid-friendly home that is perfect for adults too.

We've been settling into our new island space for the past couple of days and I'm spending a lot of time daydreaming about the arrival of our household goods and the acquisition of a few more pieces to make it really feel like home. Personal style icon, bad-ass business woman, mother of two (to Lennon & Costa) and all around California cool girl Hannah Henderson has been on my radar for years. I constantly find myself looking to her (don't follow her on Instagram? you should) for style inspiration and motherhood advice. Some of my favorite curiosities in our home have come from General Store, the shop that put Hannah at the helm which is a must-visit whenever I'm in SoCal. The laid-back vibe that Henderson exudes seems to swirl all around her... both within the walls of her brick and mortar shop tucked away in one of Southern California's coolest neighborhoods and in her airy, relaxed and expertly curated Venice Beach home.
