It's been quite a while since I shared a home tour here (mostly because I share bi-weekly interiors posts on SF Girl By Bay and all of my good ones end up there) but Rachel Carven's LA home is the perfect way to dive back in. With an ethos that directly mimics my own preferred home style, Rachel refers to her space as "quiet". “The world is so full of noise. Here, I think it’s important to just embrace the quiet.” 

Founder of the Echo Park Craft Fair, Rachel is a creative genius with an eye for minimal styling. The pops of color (those stained-glass windows!) keep things fresh but a neutral palette and handmade wares ground the space.

Because my (almost daily) Target trips are a thing of the past while we're living the island life, I haven't done a great job keeping up with all that's new at my favorite retailer. But... I've seen so much internet hype surrounding the new Opalhouse collection that I knew I had to seek it out and round up all the things that would likely end up in my cart if I did have access to everyone's favorite one-stop-shop. I'm kind of obsessed with all the affordable rattan, cute pottery pieces, and that leather headboard. What are you loving?

Malia Bianchi-Mau is a talented jewelry designer based in the Topanga mountains for one part of the year and Kauai the other. Alongside her equally inspiring sister Jessica and talented photographer husband Jess, Malia is responsible for filling my feed with inspiring vibes and beautiful imagery.

Her homes are some of my favorites, sprinkled with photos from her childhood and trinkets from her time spent in sunny California. There's an easy, natural flow to these spaces and I love not knowing where one ends and the other begins.
