It's finally October and almost time to pull on your favorite boots and hop into the crunchiest pile of leaves on the block. With each change of season comes an exciting list of adventures that I can't wait to start checking off. Fall is the time for apple picking, pumpkin patches, and trips to the outdoor market. It's the season of comfy sweaters and evenings spent with good friends.

I spent last Spring in my favorite pair of wellington boots (see them here) and I've got plans to bring them back out for a spin this Autumn with layers, cozy knits and a versatile leather satchel (you've got to have somewhere to store a few farm-fresh apples amiright?!). Joules' entire range of wellies is definitely worth a look... there are some seriously sweet styles!

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of rainy days, sometimes you've just got to get out and play in a few puddles! I'd been waiting for the perfect time to take these adorable rainboots from Joules for a spin and this weekend (though a little dreary) was just perfect. Lorelai, Mr. Jackson and I were able to spend some time tossing around a football before it started to pour. It's so amazing how much fun everything is when you're two and a half... nothing is going to rain on this little girl's parade!
