Trick or Treat

Halloween has always been my favorite time of the year! As a little girl I waited (sometimes patiently and other times not so much) for all of the other seasons to pass in order to revel in Autumn. I usually began planning costumes in June and ours was always the house decked out in orange twinkle lights and faux spider webs. As an adult, once the first hint of chill hits the air and the trees start shedding their crimson leaves, I become just as excited for that magical witching hour.

Since we're busy experiencing Halloween with Lo (she is beyond excited to trick or treat!), I was unable to whip up my usual spooky roundup. Tonight we have plans to don our spookiest (I would have loved to rock the Stevie Nicks costume above... this will definitely be next year's inspiration), make the rounds for candy and snuggle up for a midnight viewing of my favorite movie, Practical Magic.
