I've been having a love affair with neutral colors and cool pieces for a while now. There's something about dressing from a capsule wardrobe that I'm really drawn to. Maybe it's my ties to Catholic school and a history of uniform dressing, but a closet full of mix-and-match pieces seems to be the best (and most stylish) way to nail down a cohesive personal style. Enter Addison, a "New York City-based label that beckons to a breed of city girls who understand the art and attitude behind creative street-style fashion".  I'm loving the collection made entirely of neutral colors, cool cuts and trendy-but-timeless staples... not to mention everything is totally layerable (to help during this weird transitional weather).

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to attend one of Anthropologie's fabulous #anthroevents at my local store in Huntsville, AL! To say I love Anthropologie would be a total understatement. I often find myself stopping in to browse the racks, take in the amazing decor and have a chat with the wonderful staff. Breakfast at Tiffanys? Try brunch at Anthropologie!

When Anthro reached out to me with an invitation I accepted immediately and did a little happy dance in our living room. A flurry of champagne and pretty new arrivals, the evening didn't disappoint.

I had such a lovely night! There's really something to seeing the clothes in action that makes me want them that peplum so much more. Getting to network a little was priceless and I loved the chance to wander the store after closing time with some yummy treats and a few girls who share my passion for Anthro! Of course, I took home a few goodies but first... let me take a selfie.

The days of showing off your pedicure are fast approaching (hopefully)... My Winter boots are tucked safely away and I'm on the hunt for the very best sandals for Spring! With just a hint of metallic and a few fun embellishments, these 6 pairs are sure to dance their way into your heart (and closet) this season.
