Even though Summer is officially here (hooray for pool days, bike rides and BBQs), I'm not ready to let go of my leather jacket and knee high boots just yet. With a breezy dress (like this old one from Cotton On) in tow, I'm getting a little extra mileage out of my Fall/Winter favorites. How do you wear cold weather pieces in the Summer?

There are few things I love more than a good cup of coffee and some old fashioned people watching. Since this momma doesn't get a whole lot of time to indulge in peace (or with fabulous friends), soaking up the sunset with a latte is the perfect break from routine. These are the days, aren't they? Lately it seems like I've been on a roll when it comes to being positive. We've been feeling more at home in our new town, settling into a comfortable (but fun) routine, meeting wonderful new friends (isn't Ginny from Sleepy Fox talented? I hope you're enjoying the new photo format as much as I am!) and just livin' life here in Huntsville. With all of the traveling of last month behind us I'm finding it totally necessary to recharge and be kind to myself.

p.s. Isn't this shirt the best? My mom and I both have it but I've got this one and this one on my wishlist.
