Happy Friday! + weekly roundup

happy-friday Happy Friday! Thank God for the weekend, right? I have family in town for a while and plans to unplug, take my sister to our new church and work on this little apartment of ours a bit. Before I step away for the weekend I wanted to thank you for all of your sweet comments/emails/tweets yesterday. I'm so excited to let you in and share a little more of my daily life in 2014 and I definitely wouldn't even be considering it without your support!

In other news, there were a TON of amazing things happening on the internet on this week. Here's what I loved:

Stephanie Sterjovski shared a few of her dreams for 2014 Gaby from The Vault Files discovered her word for the new year... and it's a good one rewatching this super fun Jenna Lyons interview for the 50th time 30 things every woman should have and know via My Cup Of Te SMP Living's features on Taylor Sterling and her gorgeous home Don't be pretty - be beautiful in 2014 via One Fine A if Carrie Bradshaw had an Instagram (so good!) tips for shooting outfit photos from Jana Williams & Matchbook Magazine's January issue

Stationary Roundup

One of my big plans for the new year is to send more snail mail! There are few things better than opening our letter box and finding a fun little package for me... it feels like Christmas all over again and with Facebook, Instagram and E-mail dominating most of our days it's nice to take the time to really show loved ones that you care. Since I haven't amassed a huge stationary collection just yet, I have big plans to stock up during 2014. I'm expecting most of my shopping budget to go towards paper products and I'm not mad at it...

Recently, I signed up for a little pen pal experiment via One Fine A and Alecia from Likes of Us sent me the sweetest note in the mail... I love this little community of blogland and all of the great relationships it puts in the works. What fun!
