What's more fun than supporting family AND wearing beautiful jewelry? Nothin'! When I ordered this "give thanks" necklace from Tynel's etsy shop, Little Lambs Eat Ivy, I had no idea how quickly it would become one of my absolute favorite pieces. By now you're probably aware of my love of all things gold and my penchant for "Carrie" moments. One of my big plans for the new year is to send more snail mail! There are few things better than opening our letter box and finding a fun little package for me... it feels like Christmas all over again and with Facebook, Instagram and E-mail dominating most of our days it's nice to take the time to really show loved ones that you care. Since I haven't amassed a huge stationary collection just yet, I have big plans to stock up during 2014. I'm expecting most of my shopping budget to go towards paper products and I'm not mad at it...

Recently, I signed up for a little pen pal experiment via One Fine A and Alecia from Likes of Us sent me the sweetest note in the mail... I love this little community of blogland and all of the great relationships it puts in the works. What fun!

  I've got a secret: stocking stuffers are my favorite gifts to receive. They're always frivolous little treats or trinkets and I just love how fun the whole ritual of waking up early and immediately emptying our stockings is! Since I've taken on the role of Santa at our house, I get to pick out tiny bits of sparkle and sweet for everybody.
