January is a month of new beginnings. Resolutions are permeating the air (or is that the below freezing temps?) and I'm totally pumped to take on the new year. With the holidays in our rear view mirror and 2014 still ahead, there are quite a few things I'm looking forward to.

Towards the end of 2013 I discovered a latent love for all things paper, due in part to the genius that is Sugar Paper Los Angeles (a stationary company based in the West Coast's favorite city). Through endless hours of scrolling their Insta-feed and reading some of my favorite business profiles/studio tours on the web (via The Glitter Guide and The Everygirl) I became enamored with the company. Since few things rival my love for J.Crew, you can image my excitement upon hearing the two were collabing for a fabulous wedding collection of stationary and party supplies. With products ranging from an AHH-mazing planning binder to sweet Thank You notes, they've got you covered (in gold letterpress no less)!

Decking the halls has always been my favorite part of the holidays. I get so much joy from putting up our tree (and then curling up and staring at its twinkling lights each night) that I trimmed ours the week before Thanksgiving this year... oops! You gotta love a holiday where everything is covered in a light dusting of glitter and tied up in a pretty velvet bow.
If your friends and family are anything like me, the key to finding the perfect gift may just be in the trimmings. With so much of my winter budget going to gifts, I rarely splurge on new decorations for our home. I would definitely be wowed by a sparkling new ornament!
