Oops... I did it again! Pink is definitely taking over the blog this week but these blooms were way too pretty not to get in on the action. Lorelai may be cuter but a day of frolicking through the flowers and soaking up DC's scenery was perfect for this petal pusher.
p.s. It may be a fashion faux pas but do you dare tie jackets/shirts around your waist? I kind of like the 90s vibe...
I've got a secret: stocking stuffers are my favorite gifts to receive. They're always frivolous little treats or trinkets and I just love how fun the whole ritual of waking up early and immediately emptying our stockings is! Since I've taken on the role of Santa at our house, I get to pick out tiny bits of sparkle and sweet for everybody.

A few weeks ago I attended Freutcamp, a blog workshop hosted by Leah of Freutcake. The whole experience was so much fun (hopefully a recap is coming to the blog soon) and I was lucky enough to capture a few snaps of my outfit from the first day (full of photoshop tutorials, photoshoot demos and networking... oh my)!
I have to admit, I was a little nervous picking clothes for "camp". A group of twenty five women (who all turned out to be incredibly lovely) hardly sounded like the right time to try a new trend or strap on my six inch stilettos but I weathered through and found the perfect mix of quirk and corporate! A structured skirt helped tone it down but sparkly shoes (you know I love me some sparkle...) and this 3D polka dot sweater were so much fun.
A word to the wise: If lunch is served picnic-style, don't opt for a skirt. Picnic benches + a short hemline does not a classy first impression make... you're welcome.
